The Horror on the Orient Express: Consumed by the Void is a major campaign expansion for Call of Cthulhu: Horror on the Orient Express – The Board Game, which transforms the nightmarish journey on the legendary train into a complete adventure of 5 connected scenarios. The scenarios are played in a specific order and form a single story, where decisions and developments gradually lead to the grand finale.
In the Consumed by the Void Campaign Expansion, the Investigators face new and stronger enemies, while a mysterious detective appears by their side. As the campaign unfolds, each scenario introduces new challenges, components, and special rules, without replacing the core system of the Horror on the Orient Express board game.
The expansion adds a significant amount of new material, such as new miniatures, landscape tiles, boards, tokens, cards, and scenario-specific components. Among them are new characters and terrifying creatures that further expand the Lovecraftian universe of the game.
Unlike a collection of independent missions, the Expansion emphasizes continuous storytelling. Each chapter builds on the previous one, creating a cohesive scenario-based horror campaign with new allies, enemies, and evolving gameplay.
