Horror on the Orient Express: Investigators Unveiled Expansion
The Horror on the Orient Express: Investigators Unveiled Expansion enriches the dark journey of Call of Cthulhu: Horror on the Orient Express – The Board Game, transforming the characters you encounter in the base game into new options for players. This is an expansion from Chaosium that significantly increases the variety of characters, the possible identities of Suspects, and the replayability of each game.
With the Investigators Unveiled Expansion, the Suspects from the base game can now be used as regular playable Investigators. Thus, the available Investigators increase to a total of 10 different characters, giving the team more options and different ways to approach the mystery.
The big twist, however, works in the opposite direction as well. Each Investigator can now appear as a Suspect and potential Cultist. This means that the composition of the suspects can change from game to game, making the investigation less predictable and enhancing the deduction element of the Horror on the Orient Express board game.
The Horror on the Orient Express Investigators Unveiled includes 78 Skill tiles, 6 Investigator portraits, 6 Investigator Profession tiles, and 4 Suspect boards, which are integrated into the base game.
For fans of Call of Cthulhu board games, cooperative horror games, Lovecraftian mystery, and deduction games, the Investigators Unveiled Expansion mainly adds what a narrative game needs after many sessions: more characters, new combinations, and greater uncertainty about who might be hiding behind the cult.
Attention: Requires the Horror on the Orient Express: The Board Game. It is not a standalone game.
