Disney Lorcana TCG

Disney Lorcana is a collectible card game published by Ravensburger in collaboration with The Walt Disney Company. It is Ravensburger's first Trading Card Game and features characters from across the Disney universe, the current expansion sets of which include characters from the films of Walt Disney Animation Studios and the series The Disney Afternoon.

Disney Lorcana is set in an alternate world where there are people called 'Illumineers'. Illumineers can use magical ink to summon 'Glimmers', which are beings that resemble Disney characters. The world has regions called 'Inklands'. At its center is the 'Great Illuminary'. Its purpose is to be a repository to keep track of every story that has ever been told. These stories are archived in the 'Halls of Lorcana'.

One day, the Illumineers disappear and the Great Illuminary calls on players to become Illumineers themselves. There is a book of stories, the 'lorebook', and a tool called the 'inkcaster' that allows Illumineers to take the magical ink to create 'Glimmers' from the lorebook.

How is Lorcana TCG played

With decks consisting of at least 60 cards, players generate «ink», a resource that allows the calling of cards that represent characters, items and song lyrics from Disney media.Players' turns have a sequence of ink generation, playing cards, using actions from cards and challenging opponents' character cards. While interacting with each other's cards, players try to collect twenty points (known in the game as «lore») before their opponent.
