MBT (2nd Printing)

MBT is a complete game system that models the U.S. 7th Army and the Soviet GSFG and CGF motorized forces of 1987. It features the M1 Abrams (armed versions 105mm and 120mm) against an entire range of Soviet armored vehicles with the T-80, T-72, T-64 and the upgraded models of the T-62 and T-55. There are even M60A3s to balance the American tank inventory. The mechanized Bradley IFV and CFV units are ready to take on those mounted on BMP 1, 2 and even some 3. Not to be overlooked, the M113A2, BTR and MT-LB will also make their appearance.

Mechanized infantry and their associated weapons are abundant, including the M47 Dragon, M72 LAW, AT-7 Saxon, AT-4 Spigot and multiple versions of RPG. The scale is right down to the weeds with individual vehicles, infantry platoons, half-platoons and sections. Each hex has a diameter of only 100 meters, so it is face-to-face action.

The rules cover the full field of modern mechanized combat with ATGMs, including the TOW and the deadly Soviet gun-launched missiles such as the AT-11 Sniper and AT-8 Songster, special armor (including ERA), advanced night fighting with thermal imaging and image intensifiers, advanced artillery with ICM and laser-guided projectiles, helicopters including the AH-64A Apache and Mi-24P Hind-F, attack aircraft including the A-10A Warthog and SU-25 Frogfoot, and AA units with missiles and guns to counter deadly air threats. All of this is included in this complete package.
