The Dune: Imperium – Conspiracy is a new major expansion for Dune: Imperium and Dune: Imperium – Uprising, designed by Paul Dennen and published by Dire Wolf. The power of Paul Muad’Dib has spread throughout the Imperium, but with it has come war. How can one overthrow an Emperor who can see the future? Paul’s enemies have begun to move in the shadows, and this time their plans may escape even his predictive power.
The Dune Imperium Conspiracy expansion enriches the familiar strategic gameplay of the series with new ways of political and military dominance. The new Conspiracy cards offer powerful advantages, some of which can remain active for much of the game, creating new strategic options and combinations.
At the same time, players can conduct Raids on planets of the Imperium, while the new Imperial Edicts change the conditions and require constant adaptation of strategy. The Conspiracy is fully compatible with Dune: Imperium and Dune: Imperium – Uprising, as well as with previous expansions.
A distinct addition is the new Overthrow Mode, an asymmetric mode in which one player takes on the role of the Emperor, while two or three opponents unite their forces to overthrow him.
For those who love the Dune board game, deck-building, worker placement, political intrigue, and strategic conflict, the Dune: Imperium – Conspiracy opens an even more dangerous path to power. In the Imperium, even knowledge of the future is not enough when the conspiracy has already begun.
