On the Al-Sabika hill in Granada, the Nasrid dynasty created one of the most impressive structures in history, the Alhambra.
At Sabika, you play the role of one of the Nasrid nobles who contributed to the construction of the towers, gardens and palaces of this ancient monument. Aside from this honorary duty, you must establish trade routes across Europe and the Maghreb. These routes will secure you sufficient income to be able to bear the onerous tribute tax imposed by the Catholic Monarchs. In return for your work, you will receive military protection from the various conflicts of the Taifas Kingdom.
Sabika employs an innovative mechanism that incorporates three interconnected rondels. Each rondel focuses on a different scenario: the construction of the Alhambra, inscribing poems in its halls and exporting goods along the trade routes. All of this takes place over five seasons (rounds), and at the end of the fifth round, the player who has accumulated the most prestige points wins.
