The global order is in turmoil. Regional conflicts, shifting alliances, economic crises, and new geopolitical balances are testing the greatest powers on the planet. The World Order: World in Turmoil Expansion adds events that shaped the world after 2010 and integrates them into the geopolitical mechanism of the core game.
Face the consequences of the Arab Spring, Brexit, the US-China trade war, the rise of the Islamic State, the COVID-19 pandemic, and the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Players can experience the impacts of these events on international relations or attempt to prevent them, creating alternative historical developments.
At the heart of World in Turmoil are 60 Event Cards, inspired by real geopolitical developments. Each new crisis creates threats but also strategic opportunities, forcing superpowers to adjust their economic, political, and diplomatic strategies.
The expansion includes a total of 87 cards, 50 wooden cubes, an Events Board, and a rulebook, significantly enriching the experience of World Order.
