Sid Meier's Civilization: In the strategy board game, two to four players take on the rulers of history's most memorable empires. During the game, players will expand their territories, acquire new technologies and build many of humanity's greatest wonders. In the end, one nation will prevail over all others to leave its indelible mark on history.
This new game presents players with an unexplored land to conquer, built from beautifully illustrated map tiles. These aspiring conquerors build and fill the map with barbarians, natural resources and city-states, and then shape their plans for how they will mold this world according to their vision. Their precise goals, however, change in each game. Agendas are detailed on the victory cards, three of which are drawn during setup. Players race to be the first to complete an agenda on each of these victory cards, spreading across the world and securing their civilization's place as the greatest global power.
