Gloomhaven: Buttons & Bugs – Pub Crawlers is an expansion for the compact solo adventure Gloomhaven: Buttons & Bugs by Cephalofair Games, adding a brand new campaign, new characters, enemies, and mechanics to the tiny world of Gloomhaven. The Pub Crawlers Expansion continues the tactical combat experience of the base game with 17 new scenario cards, each with its own mini battle map.
In Gloomhaven Buttons & Bugs Pub Crawlers, two brand new playable mercenaries appear: the Fungal Monk and Whistlecry. Each new class comes with a micro miniature, character card, ability deck, and modifier cards, offering different strategies and new options for solo gameplay. The campaign is also cross-compatible with the mercenaries from the base Buttons & Bugs, so you can tackle the new adventures with beloved characters from the original game.
The expansion also adds 6 double-sided monster stat cards with 12 different enemies, 36 condition tokens, a new enemy dial, additional cubes, and new dice. The Bless/Curse Die (d10) and the Bonus Player Die (d6) further enrich the battles, while the new Struggle/Ease Difficulty Deck allows for adjustments to the difficulty.
Like the base Buttons & Bugs, Pub Crawlers retains the essence of Gloomhaven in a small size: hand management, tactical card-driven combat, variable player powers, hex-based movement, and scenario campaign gameplay, designed exclusively for one player.
With a duration of about 20–30 minutes per scenario, the Expansion adds significant new content without losing the fast, compact character of the series.
Attention: The base game is required Gloomhaven: Buttons & Bugs to play. It is not a standalone game.
