The Gloomhaven: Buttons & Bugs – 2024 Promo Pack is an official promotional expansion for Gloomhaven: Buttons & Bugs, adding four additional scenarios to the tiny yet strategy-filled adventure of the Gloomhaven world. The pack consolidates in one edition the four promo scenarios that were initially presented separately at the major gaming conventions Gen Con, Origins, Essen Spiel, and PAX Unplugged in 2024.
The expansion includes scenarios 2.5 – Narrow Escape, released at Gen Con 2024, 5.5 – Arena Challenge from Origins 2024, 12.5 – The Beast Tamer from Essen Spiel 2024, and 20.5 – Another Tale from PAX Unplugged 2024. Their numbering allows them to be integrated among the corresponding scenarios of the base campaign, adding new optional missions and additional content.
This is a scenario expansion and not a standalone board game. To use the four scenario cards, Gloomhaven: Buttons & Bugs is required. The base game conveys the characteristic tactical experience of Gloomhaven in a particularly compact solo board game, with card-driven battles, hand management, grid movement, and campaign gameplay.
The 2024 Promo Pack is an excellent addition for players who want more content for Buttons & Bugs, as well as for collectors of the Gloomhaven universe who want the promotional scenarios from the 2024 conventions gathered together.
