Fliptown: New Frontier is the major full-box expansion of the beloved Fliptown, adding a brand new board, four new areas, and even more options to the excellent flip & write board game by Steven Aramini. Fliptown New Frontier retains the clever use of a simple poker deck that characterizes the base game, but opens new paths for those who want more strategy, variety, and Wild West adventure.
In New Frontier, four brand new areas await you. Gather cows in the Hills, search for gold in the River, travel on the Rails, or claim your own property in the New Town. Each area adds different options and new ways to gather points and prove that you are the best in the Wild West.
One of the most important additions of the expansion is the ability to choose between two different ways to play. In Single-Barrel Mode, you use only the new board, while in Double-Barrel Mode, you combine it with the board of the base Fliptown for a larger and more challenging experience.
It also introduces the new resource Hard Luck, the Ricochet Bonuses, and a new type of bot, the Sidekicks, enriching the gameplay with more combinations and strategic decisions. And of course, New Frontier brings along plenty of cows and chickens, maintaining the characteristic humor of the game.
Fliptown New Frontier is ideal for those who love flip and write games, solo board games, and strategy games themed around the Wild West. It supports 1–4 players and can offer about 30–60 minutes of gameplay.
