Fliptown is an original flip and write board game of strategy, designed by Steven Aramini, that transports you to the atmosphere of the Wild West. Using a classic poker deck, players explore an open town full of opportunities, collect resources, acquire equipment, and try to gather the most points through clever strategic choices.
In the Fliptown Board Game, each round starts with the revealing of three cards. The first determines which area of the map you will activate, the second shows the available location you can visit, and the third is used to create a Poker Hand, which is scored at the end of each round. The four main areas of the game — Trail, Badlands, Mine, and Town — offer different mechanics and strategic challenges, while each spot provides unique rewards such as money, gold, tools, weapons, horses, and bonus actions.
Fliptown ideally combines Flip and Write mechanics, Open Drafting, Set Collection, Poker Hand Management, and Variable Player Powers, creating a fast yet highly strategic experience. The wide variety of options and the many different paths of development make each game unique.
