In Vinyl, players take on the roles of up-and-coming record collectors, who begin their journey with little experience but great enthusiasm. Starting from the “Mag Rack”, they gather information and head to the record shop's shelves, searching for the albums that will strengthen their personal collection.

The challenge of the game is not simply acquiring records, but creating the best possible sets. Albums are organized by genre, artist, decade and other characteristics, and the more “elegantly” they are combined, the higher the final score. Additionally, players can play albums in the dedicated listening area, increasing their fame and opening new strategic possibilities.

Action management and competition with other collectors is continuous, as the stock of records is limited and demand is high. The experience is enhanced by tasteful artwork and retro theming, offering not only a well-designed strategy game but also an emotional dive into another era.
