The Lord of the Rings: Duel for Middle-earth – Allies Expansion
The Lord of the Rings: Duel for Middle-earth – Allies is the first expansion for the popular two-player strategy board game, inspired by the legendary world of J.R.R. Tolkien. New characters from Middle-earth are ready to support either the Fellowship of the Ring or the dark forces of Sauron.
During each Chapter, players can collect Power Tokens from specific cards. These powerful symbols are used to activate the Allies, who provide immediate or lasting special abilities. Each choice can change the course of the confrontation and create new strategic combinations.
The expansion includes seven different Allies for the Fellowship and seven for Sauron. Since not all are necessarily used in every game, The Lord of the Rings Duel for Middle-earth Allies adds greater variety, asymmetric powers, and increased replayability, without significantly burdening the core rules.
The three paths to victory remain open: complete the Ring's mission, secure the support of the peoples of Middle-earth, or dominate militarily on the map. The new Allies, however, can overturn the opponent's plans at the most critical moment.
It is an ideal addition for those who love strategy board games, two-player card games, and the universe of The Lord of the Rings. This is an expansion and requires the base game The Lord of the Rings: Duel for Middle-earth.
