Splendor Duel is a standalone two-player-only game based on Splendor. It retains some of the main game mechanisms of that design, while being a bit more complex, dynamic, interactive, rich, tense and..evil.
The game features a main board shared by both opponents, card powers and three victory conditions.
More details about the game:
Players alternate turns, one after another, until the end of the game is triggered. On your turn, you take tokens from the board or use those you have in your possession to buy jewels — Jewel cards — which give you prestige points and the crowns you need to win. These cards also offer special abilities and bonuses, which reduce the cost of acquiring future Jewel cards. To win, you must fulfill one of the three conditions listed on the victory tile.
