The SPARTA!: Struggle for Greece is a historical strategy and war board game that transports players to the great conflicts of Ancient Greece. Taking on Athens or Sparta, you will vie for dominance in the Greek world through military operations, diplomacy, economic management, and political alliances.

In SPARTA! each region can be a pivotal point of your strategy. Control Sicily for its wealth, leverage the fleets of Corinth, and forge alliances with important cities like Thebes and Syracuse. Even the Persians or Macedonians can influence the outcome of the war.

Players move armies and fleets, conduct raids, besiege cities, and engage in battles through a sleek card-driven system. Meanwhile, historical figures like Pericles and Cleon have unique abilities and can evolve into stronger forms as the conflict progresses.

The game includes four historical scenarios: the First Peloponnesian War, the Second Peloponnesian War, the Theban–Spartan War, and the Cleomenic War. Thus, it does not limit itself to a single period but explores different conflicts and power balances of ancient Greek history.

Designed primarily as an intense wargame for 2 players, it also offers a comprehensive solo mode with an automated opponent. Each game lasts about 120–180 minutes and requires a constant balance between military strength, economy, and diplomacy.
