Sniper Elite: Operation Kraken is a content-rich expansion for Sniper Elite: The Board Game, inspired by the popular video game series from Rebellion. Designed by David Thompson and Roger Tankersley, the expansion introduces new missions, brand new maps, additional mechanics, and more strategic depth, offering even greater variety and replayability.
In Sniper Elite Operation Kraken, players undertake a critical mission during World War II. The Axis forces are preparing to launch an experimental super aircraft carrier, and the sniper must either uncover the plans before its departure or infiltrate the ship itself to destroy it from within.
The expansion adds two brand new maps, Norman Village and Super Carrier, which offer completely different tactical approaches. In Norman Village, players will need to move carefully among patrolling armored vehicles, while in Super Carrier, they will face narrow corridors, air ducts, multiple decks, and locked areas that turn every mission into a test of strategy.
Sniper Elite: Operation Kraken also includes two new vehicles with miniatures, new Loadout Cards, Objective Cards, new tokens, as well as additional cards for Solo Mode, enriching both competitive and single-player gameplay.
New equipment such as TNT and Bolt Cutters give the Sniper more options for infiltration and sabotage, while defenders gain new capabilities like reinforced walls and locked doors, significantly increasing the difficulty and tension of each match.
