Onward is a modern strategy board game from Skytear Games, designed as the spiritual successor to the successful Skytear. Inspired by popular MOBA (Multiplayer Online Battle Arena) video games like League of Legends and DOTA 2, the Onward Board Game brings the intensity of team battles to the table, offering fast-paced, competitive, and deeply strategic gameplay.

In Onward, players are divided into two opposing teams and control two or more Champions, each with unique abilities, roles, and strategic capabilities. The goal of each team is to destroy the enemy Nexus, the gate located at the opponent's base, before the opponents achieve it.

The battlefield consists of two or three lanes, where minions continuously move and attack any enemy they encounter. Towers protect each lane and serve as key defensive points, while jungles hide dangerous monsters that reward players with gold, allowing the purchase of powerful items and upgrades. In the center of the map, the River hosts a powerful neutral opponent, whose defeat can change the outcome of the entire match.

Onward combines Team-Based Strategy, Variable Player Powers, Area Movement, Tactical Combat, Hand Management, Objective Control, and Character Development mechanics, creating an experience that strongly resembles top MOBA video games, but without the need for electronic devices.
