Apollo Creed, the undisputed heavyweight champion, the “Master of Disaster”, the “King of Sting”, made the worst mistake of his life when he chose to give the unknown local boxer Rocky Balboa a shot at the title. After defeating all the serious contenders, Creed decides to give his fellow townsman Balboa a shot at the belt, because he believed that the ring name “The Italian Stallion” would help bring in the crowds. Although Creed and Balboa eventually become good friends, the brutal fights fought in the ring are the toughest Apollo had ever faced. “Apollo Creed vs. the Italian Stallion. " Sounds like a damned monster movie.
