  In Magna Roma (Deluxe Edition), the objective is to score the most points at the end of the game by building your city efficiently. To do this, players take turns placing city tiles in their city. A newly placed tile must connect to at least one of the previously placed tiles. When a player places a tile, the connection with neighboring tiles will result in the production of one or more resources for the player. For example, connecting two semicircles located on tiles produces a coin, a rectangle and a triangle produce population, a rectangle and a semicircle produce a legion, etc. Additionally, if the connected shapes are the same color, the game rewards the player with double resources.

  With these resources, players will be able to use the other actions of the game, such as: building various monuments in their city, acquiring a luxury good, winning the gods' favor tiles, conquering new provinces for the emperor… In Magna Roma (Deluxe Edition) everything serves the same goal – to score the most points at the end of the game and to build the greatest Roman city that ever existed!
