Designed by John Butterfield and published by Decision Games, the game offers an authentic historical simulation, focusing on the US struggle to capture Omaha Beach under heavy resistance.
The player controls infantry, engineers, tanks and support units, using cards and counters to coordinate the landing, overcome obstacles, deal with hidden German positions and advance into the interior of France.
