Cytosis: A Cell Biology Game
Cytosis: a cell biology game is a cell-building, worker-placement game set in the human cell. Players start with a number of workers and on their turn place one of their workers on any available space within the cell. Some of the spaces provide players with resources (e.g. mRNA, ATP) - others provide actions (e.g. resource conversion, card collection). Resources are used to build enzymes, hormones and/or receptors, which collect health points. The player with the most health points at the end of the game wins!
Players take turns placing vials on the available organelles within a human cell in order to collect resources or take actions to create enzymes, hormones and hormone receptors and to detoxify the cell. Keep your children and students engaged with a game that will help them learn while at the same time challenging them to think critically. Our board games about biological concepts like cell development give you a way to bond with your little ones without electronic devices or screens.
