Combat Commander: Resistance! is the fourth major expansion in the famous Combat Commander wargame series, enriching Combat Commander: Europe and Combat Commander: Mediterranean with new partisan forces and guerrilla warfare behind Axis lines. Resistance introduces players to historical resistance battles during World War II, offering scenarios from Greece, Yugoslavia, France, Albania, Belarus and the Balkans.
The Combat Commander: Resistance! board game includes a new playbook with special rules for partisans, irregular melee, hidden movements via sewers, observation markers, new orders like Infiltrate and Muster, new actions like Knife, No Quarter, Trap and events like Inexperience, Patriotism, Stealth. In addition, it contains 6 new double-sided maps, 12 new scenarios, a special card deck for the partisans (Partisan Fate & Force Decks), as well as counters for units and markers.
Scenarios like Operation Harling at the Gorgopotamos Bridge in Greece, Predator Becomes Prey in Albania or Thunderstorm in Croatia, put you into battles with local partisans (ELAS, FFI, Soviets) against German, Italian and Croatian forces. Players will experience the intensity of guerrilla warfare tactics, with surprise attacks, ambushes, traps and hard survival battles.
