The Avalon: The Riven Veil – Mistwalkers Expansion enriches the mysterious world of Avalon with two new elements that change the strategic options of the base game: the powerful Mistwalkers and a new Victory Point Deck.
The Mistwalkers are unique champions who can travel through the mist of Avalon, offering each faction new exploration and strategic control capabilities. As they move through the mist, they can acquire cards from the Victory Point Deck and gather valuable information about the hidden elements of the island.
The Expansion introduces 5 dual-colored Mistwalker miniatures, adding a distinct Mistwalker for each faction. Along with them comes a deck of 40 Victory Point Cards, which creates new paths to victory. The cards serve as personal goals and bonus cards, while they can also be utilized as an additional resource during the game.
The important thing is that the new mechanisms are integrated into the base game without significantly burdening the rules. Thus, the Mistwalkers Expansion adds greater strategic depth, more options, and new ways to gather Victory Points, maintaining the character of Avalon: The Riven Veil.
