The Age of the Moon board game is a strategic game of competition and cooperation, set during the new space race. Players take on the role of leaders trying to create the first habitable base on the Moon, in the south pole region.
Each round, players receive Lunars (the game's currency) to invest in power production units, greenhouses, exploration robots, spacecraft and rockets. Transporting units from Earth to the Moon is not a simple matter — risky launch mechanisms based on dice rolls create tension and unpredictable developments.
The Age of the Moon board game emphasizes resource balance, technological development and diplomacy. Players can cooperate and acquire ICP (International Community Points), or pursue a competitive strategy using negotiation cards. Each choice has consequences, as unpredictable events at the end of each round can overturn the situation.
The winner is the player who manages to be the first to construct and activate all the core modules of their lunar base.
