Glass Road is a strategy board game by the world-renowned designer Uwe Rosenberg that transports you to the heart of the Bavarian Forest to celebrate the 700-year tradition of glass production. In Glass Road, you are called to efficiently manage the production of bricks and glass, clear forests for fuel, create ponds, mines and crops, and construct the most useful buildings that will give you an advantage at the end of the game.
Each player has 15 special characters (specialists) with unique abilities. Your choices are affected by the moves of your opponents: if you play a character that nobody else has chosen, you can use both of its abilities. However, if others have also played it, you use only one.
The game is played in 4 construction phases, and includes three types of buildings: processing, instant and final-scoring. The right choice of cards and the strategic combination of buildings is the key to victory.
The 2021 edition includes promo material such as the Oktoberfest & Adventskalender tiles, as well as the Harlekin card for solo games.
