Black Sonata: The Fair Youth is a collection of five mini expansions that add new dimensions, strategies, and puzzles to the core solo board game Black Sonata. With themes inspired by Shakespearean literature and Elizabethan England, this expansion enhances the unique gameplay experience with greater challenge and depth.

At the center is The Fair Youth, which adds a new character who is hiding in London. Players must locate his position using clues from passersby. However, if you already happen to be in the right place, the information you receive may be misleading. If you manage to catch both the Dark Lady and the Young Man at the same time, you will receive bonus points.

The expansion The Rendezvous challenges you to locate the meeting point between Shakespeare and the Dark Lady. Using clues based on distance from various locations, you must decipher which map symbol represents the rendezvous.

With the Rival Poet, a second pawn is introduced onto the board that interacts with the player. There are two types of poets: the Elusive, who reveals clues if you catch him, and the Aggressive, who pursues you.

Finally, the Waypoints and Traces and the Darker Ladies add tools to track the Dark Lady and to increase the difficulty of logical deduction.
