In The Red Palace, each player builds their own Alhambra palace by buying tiles and placing buildings of different types.
The main difference from the classic Alhambra board game is the new tile structure and the use of wooden 3D buildings that add visual appeal and more tactical gameplay. The prisons (guards) are a new mechanic that allows players to gain extra points each round or use them for powerful bonus actions.
Victory points are calculated in three scoring phases, depending on the number of identical buildings and the length of the wall. At the end of the game, the player with the most points is declared the winner.
