Plan your city carefully and connect neighborhoods efficiently to earn valuable resources! Spend coins and employ population to build magnificent monuments. Use legions to conquer distant lands. Secure luxuries that you can use to earn points. Acquire thefavor of the gods and use it to strengthen your city. Glory is in your hands!

  In Magna Roma, the goal is to score the most points at the end of the game by building your city efficiently. To do this, players alternately place city tiles in their city. A newly placed tile must connect to at least one of the tiles that have been placed previously. When a player places a tile, the connection with neighboring tiles will result in the production of one or more resources for the player. For example, connecting two semicircles located on tiles produces a coin, a rectangle and a triangle produce population, a rectangle and a semicircle produce a legion, etc. Additionally, if the connected shapes are the same color, the game rewards the player with double resources.

  With these resources, players will be able to use the other actions of the game, such as: building various monuments in their city, acquiring a luxury good, winning the favor tiles of the gods, conquering new provinces for the emperor… In the Magna Roma (Standard Edition) all serve the same goal – to score the most points at the end of the game and to build the greatest Roman city that ever existed !
