Messina 1347
The Messina 1347 takes place during the plague epidemic (also known as the “black death”) and the spread of its infection throughout the city. During this period, the merchant ships that delivered luxury goods to Europe brought an unprecedented epidemic to these countries. And one of the first cities to be affected was Messina, Italy.
In the game, players take on the role of important families of Messina who leave the city and move to the countryside out of fear of being infected by the plague. While doing so, they focus on rescuing other inhabitants and help combat the plague infection in the city. They must also try to prosper in their country estate, where they temporarily host rescued inhabitants. They all wait there for the epidemic to subside. Then they return to Messina to take control of and dominate specific districts of the city.
