The Suna Valo board game is a strategic resource-management tabletop game set in a solarpunk world full of hope and creation. You are in the idyllic Κοιλάδα του Ήλιου (Sunny Valley), at the foot of a mountain and beside a wide river, where the village of Foriro becomes the center of a new beginning. Here, players are called to build their own farm, cultivate fields and supply the village with valuable goods, utilizing transport drones and riverboats.
In Suna Valo, the development of your farm is done through farm cards in various categories: cultivate grains, gather water lilies and blue flowers, produce wool from sheep for making clothes, or collect eggs from free-range hens. At the same time, you must strengthen your fleet of drones so you can deliver more resources.
The game features an innovative market mechanism, where you must grab valuable cards before your opponent does, secure more profitable options and organize prestige events. Each time you acquire a new card for your farm, an entire column of cards is activated, leading your farm to flourish. However, you need resources to cover the cost of the cards, so resource management and proper planning are critical.
After three rounds of play, the player with the most victory points wins, having contributed most to the development of Foriro. The Suna Valo board game is a peaceful yet highly strategic experience, ideal for those who love creation, building and resource collection in a thematic futuristic world.
