The tea ceremony lies at the heart of Japanese culture, bringing to life the most basic and fundamental concepts of hospitality, respect and Zen philosophy. It is believed there that tea, which came from China in the 13th century, solved the health problems of the Buddhist monks who drank it. Over time, the tea ceremony evolved to offer samurai a place of calm, away from the chaos of the battlefield.
In The White Castle: Matcha, you will have to deal with a new location where you influence the court using new members of your clan. Having your clan members in good positions inside the Chashitsu (tea room) will help you achieve a higher level of influence within the Himeji court. Also, you will have one additional action each round. Will that be enough?
The first edition of Matcha includes Promo 4 for The White Castle. For the time being it is not available on its own. It must be played with the base game and the Matcha expansion.
Contains 3 cube tiles, each of which has the Chasen on its back. When you set up the game, replace the 3 cube tiles that grant a resource of your choice with these 3 new tiles.
