3 Ring Circus

The circus has come to town! Under the tent, jugglers, clowns, magicians, strongmen and wild beasts captivate the curiosity of a devoted audience that applauds nonstop. After each performance, your small troupe gains fame and may one day pique the interest of P.T. Barnum, the greatest circus magnate of all time.

In 3 Ring Circus, players take on the role of a circus manager touring the United States in the late 19th century. Your goal is to hire performers and put on shows in various towns in order to gain fame. In towns, shows are easy to set up and give you initial resources to upgrade your cast- small towns are somewhat more demanding, but allow you to come into contact with better performers- the audience in big cities is even more demanding and wants to see very specific acts, but your appearances there bring you much more fame!

On their turn, players can hire a performer or host a show. At the start of the game, each player's circus is empty, so you will need to sign a contract to form the company. Artist cards provide more or fewer benefits depending on the order in which they act, so one of the keys to the game is planning the shows that will be offered.

If they decide to act, players must move to a free space on the map. If it is a town, they receive the most basic coin cards as a reward. If they act in a small town, depending on the number of pedestals you have in your troupe, you can claim more or fewer entry cards (the latter more valuable) or fame points. In big cities, you get many fame points, but the audience always requires a specific type of performer.

While your small circus tries to survive, the big and dazzling Barnum circus travels across the country and when it reaches a big city, scoring takes place in that area and the circuses that have given the most performances there will gain even greater fame.
