In the game, you will find two complete and ready-to-play factions: the fiery Phoenix Elves and the relentless Tundra Orcs. The Phoenix Elves rely on precision, proper planning, and the power of fire. In contrast, the Tundra Orcs unleash powerful attacks, combining brute strength with icy magic.
Tactical battle with cards and dice
The unit cards are placed and moved on the board, turning the card game into a real tactical showdown. You must protect your Summoner, control the right positions, utilize your gates, and decide when it is worth attacking. Battles are resolved with special dice, adding tension without detracting from the importance of your strategic decisions.
Each faction has different units, Champions, Events, and a distinct way of playing. Thus, the two sides offer asymmetric strategies and great replayability.
The Summoner Wars Starter Set is fully standalone and includes everything needed for two players. It does not require the Summoner Wars Master Set. However, it can later be enriched with additional Faction Decks, offering new armies, combinations, and tactics.
