In June 2018, Scythe fans were called to design ONE encounter card using a specific template. Jamey reviewed the submissions, selected his favorites (often mixing and matching various submissions) and developed them. Now the promo boxed set Scythe Encounters is a reality!
Scythe Encounters is a box with 32 brand-new promo encounter cards. These cards feature a number of innovations to the encounter system. We recommend you play with them on their own for a few games- then you can shuffle them into the regular encounter deck.

A few words about the main game:
The ashes of the great war still blacken the snow in Europe in the 1920s. The capitalist city-state, also known as “The Factory” has now closed its doors, drawing the attention of many neighboring countries.
Who will be the one to gain the fame and fortune to become the ultimate emperor of Eastern Europe? With five characters from five factions converging on a small but coveted corner of the world..
In Scythe, each player represents one of the characters trying to make their faction richer and more powerful in Eastern Europe. Players explore and conquer new territories. They recruit workers and recruits. They produce new resources, build buildings and develop the monstrous Mechs.
The game also includes the “Automa” rules to play solo against the game.
