In the ancient kingdom of Crete, between the sun-drenched coasts and the labyrinthine corridors of Knossos, the fate of the Minoan civilization has not yet been determined. As a member of one of the four prominent Minoan tribes, your destiny calls you to claim the prestige of the title of Minos, the absolute leader of your people.

But bear in mind – unlike the turbulent conquests of other civilizations, the Minoans are famed for their pursuit of peace and prosperity. On this enchanting journey, the essence of your quest does not lie in the clash of swords, but in the art of governance and in cultivating your tribe's unique identity.

As leaders of the Minoan tribes, players are responsible for the first European civilization. Build cities, monuments and other structures, open new trade routes, expand and fight foreigners outside your country, plan your actions with your tribe's council, research and issue decrees so that your actions are stronger than your opponents'! You have only 4 rounds to prove that you are worthy of the legendary title Minos.

Design and assign dice to the programming board. With lower-value dice you can secure more powerful actions, but higher-value dice will help you climb the tracks and earn their benefits. During the action phase each player takes their dice in order from highest to lowest and executes the preplanned actions. Players also build their board – each card has an immediate effect and an activated reward tied to the specific action or die value that they can use to make the action more powerful. Additionally, twice during the game players receive victory points for their civilization's progress in the area.
