Lawyer Up: Season 2
Objection! In Lawyer Up: Season 2, a convincing chain of arguments can change the outcome of the trial. The standalone card game from Rock Manor Games transports you to courtroom battles filled with evidence, witnesses, and strategic choices. It includes three cases and an expanded solo mode, offering gameplay for one or two players without requiring Lawyer Up: Season 1.
Designed by Samuel W. Bailey and Mike Gnade, Lawyer Up combines asymmetric roles, card selection, and influence management. In the Discovery phase, you gather evidence that strengthens your case, depriving the opponent of options. In the trial, you call witnesses and connect cards with common symbols, building arguments that influence the jury's verdict.
In Casino Heist, a gang has emptied the Majestic Casino, and the legal dispute concerns the conviction or acquittal of the accused. The double-sided Con cards shift the balance, while the right timing determines when each suspect's case is completed. The winner is whoever secures the most favorable decisions.
In Celebrity Divorce, a celebrity divorce turns shared assets into a battleground. Instead of influencing jurors, you claim assets, while secret Attitude cards add incentives to the scoring. The choices can lead to compromises or conflicts of interest.
Private Eye moves the action to 1950s Hollywood. A private investigator is wrongfully accused of murder and must uncover the perpetrator, the weapon, and the crime scene. The defense splits its efforts between investigation and the courtroom, while the opposing side tries to mislead.
For solo games, the solo mode adds the Automa opponent with different personalities and strategies. If you're looking for a courtroom board game with interaction, card combinations, and unique scenarios, discover Lawyer Up: Season 2. Prepare your case, examine the witnesses, and give weight to your argument.
