Flip Voyage – Tabletop Flip-and-Write Adventure & Strategy Game
Flip Voyage is an exciting tabletop flip-and-write adventure game, inspired by the classic work of Jules Verne “20.000 Leagues Under the Sea”. Players take on the role of a crew member of Captain Nemo, aiming to earn fame and inherit his legacy!
Using a standard poker deck, the game offers a sandbox exploration experience. Each round involves flipping three cards: one to determine the destination, one for crew orders, and one for carrying out the order. Players can choose between scientific experiments, underwater missions, liberating the oppressed, and military conflicts.
Each player's personal (dry erase) board allows management of moves, upgrades and resources, while the Nemo’s Challenge cards and the characters with unique abilities add variety and depth.
Flip Voyage also includes a solo mode with the scenario “Farragut’s Pursuit”, where the player must avoid a persistent pursuer, adapting their strategy each round.
Progress is measured via a dual track: reputation and nautical miles traveled. When the two tracks meet, the game ends.
