Europa Universalis : Price of Power is a strategic board game that gives players a full 4X gameplay experience in a historical setting. Through the strategic use of cards and careful resource management, you can expand your realm on the map board while simultaneously developing the internal mechanics of the state on your player board. You must build diplomatic relationships that support your ambitions and you can explore distant parts of the world. By hiring specialized advisors and carefully investing the monarch's power in great ideas, province development and long-term strategies, you may manage to surpass your historical counterparts.

It is a game for 1-4 players (depending on the various scenarios included

and up to 6 with the expansion). The objective of the game is to build the most successful empire and points are earned (among other things) for the provinces you own, the areas explored, diplomatic relations, victories in wars and secret objectives that have been achieved.

The board game is based on Paradox Interactive's famous series of strategy games and captures the heart and soul of the grandeur that makes the computer game so wonderful.
