You find yourself astonished on the shore that will serve as the starting point for an extensive exploration of the Galapagos, a magical place of unsurpassed beauty and endless biodiversity. There, you will gather and expand your knowledge of the natural sciences. Your eyes will learn how to spot hidden species in the tropical forest, taking in the countless colors and textures of nature. After inspired hours spent studying and arriving at enlightening conclusions, you will rest under a glittering sky, admiring the astonishing complexity of the animal kingdom.

Darwin's Journey is a eurogame with worker placement in which players recall Charles Darwin's memories from his adventure on the Galapagos Islands, which contributed to the development of his theory of evolution. With the game's innovative worker evolution system, each worker must study the sciences that are prerequisites for performing various actions in the game, such as exploration, correspondence, collecting and sending the specimens found on the island to museums, in order to contribute to human knowledge of biology. The game lasts five rounds, and thanks to various short-term and long-term objectives, each of your actions will award you victory points in different ways.
