Each 18 cm figure features over 16 points of articulation, as well as interchangeable parts and accessories, and each one comes in a full-color window box. Designed by Eamon O’Donoghue, sculpted by Gentle Giant Studios!
Lurtz is the first of Saruman's Uruk-hai to be bred, strangling the first Orc he sees, within a few seconds of his birth. Attempting to intervene, other Orcs (Snaga) move toward the newborn Uruk-hai warrior, but Saruman stops their advance, fascinated by the malice and violence in the Uruks' blood, leaving the unlucky Orc to his fate. He becomes second in Saruman's hierarchy and leads the first Uruk-hai battalion into battle against the Fellowship of the Ring at Amon Hen.
