The Presence board game combines mechanisms of asymmetric gameplay, hidden roles, and limited communication, creating an intense, cinematic experience. The spirit-player moves freely across the board, invisible, leaving clues about its intentions, while the guests have more limited movement and cannot communicate when they are separated.
Decisions made in silence determine the outcome: will trust or deception win? The tension peaks when the spirit's true nature is revealed — often, too late.
