Based on true historical events, the board game Raising Chicago combines tile placement and area majority mechanisms, offering a unique gameplay experience of strategy and resource management. The game depicts the era when Chicago decided to raise its buildings to build an above-ground sewer system, in order to combat diseases such as cholera and typhoid fever.

On your turn, you place tiles to acquire valuable resources, claim projects, and if you succeed, you execute your plan by building floors under existing buildings! Every decision counts, and only the most clever and efficient player will triumph.
