Tsunagu is a dapper man with showy tendencies. He firmly believes that people with influence should maintain a positive appearance both physically and socially. Tsunagu often uses metaphors that refer to jeans, denim and various other phrases based on tailoring and fabrics, while he often inspires his recruits with speeches, telling them to keep their lives as straight as their jeans. Tsunagu admits that he does not like beastly people such as tathen Katsuki Bakugo. He took Katsuki to try to correct his behavior, only to be frustrated by the young man's stubbornness.
