In Betrayal Legacy, you embody a member of a family that explores a house – a house that seems to “hide” suffering. At some point during the game, a player triggers the so-called “haunt”. At this point, a player usually becomes a traitor whose sole desire is to defeat the other players. All the others become heroes fighting for their survival.
Since then, the game is a struggle between the traitor and the heroes-often to the death. Each game will change the house in some way and will tell more of its story. At the end of the 13 chapters (plus a prologue), you will complete the campaign of Betrayal Legacy. From there on, you can play the game in “free play” mode. In free play, very few changes will be made to the game.
