In the game, players take on the role of commanders of space fleets sent by the Galactic Senate to expand their influence beyond the known limits of the galaxy. Over five rounds, they use their captains to perform powerful actions on their operations board, while the other players can follow the same action with their crew, but without receiving the bonus. Players will gradually increase their military strength, political influence, or technological level, earning victory points through exploration, trade, mining, or completing missions.
