In this children's strategy game, the little ones take on the role of pirates who sail the seas and discover new islands. They can use the resource tiles depicting wood, sheep, swords and pineapples to build new ships and set up more pirate hideouts along the coasts. And if the young strategists place their hideouts smartly, with a little luck they will quickly receive the right goods they need for their next hideout. But watch out! The peaceful life of the pirates is disrupted from time to time by the evil “Captain Phantom”, who likes to get in the players' way.
The revised new edition allows younger players to get to know the beloved game in shorter rounds. The game is equally suitable for two players and for groups of three to four CATAN fans. Thanks to the simplified trading rules and the resource tiles that are kid-oriented, even the youngest players have a lot of fun with the game.
With Catan Junior, even Catan's little friends, aged 6 years and up, will be able to play the famous game – and adults will like it too!
