In the board game Verdant you take on the role of an indoor plant lover who tries to create the coziest indoor space. You do this by collecting and placing houseplants and other items inside your home. You must place your plants so they receive the most suitable lighting conditions. And of course care for them to create the greenest collection.
Each round, you choose an adjacent pair from a card and a token. Then you use those elements to create an ever-expanding board of cards that represents your home. You must keep various objectives in mind as you try to grow the plants. You try to make spatial matches using token items to perform various cultivation actions. You can also develop your skills as a “green thumb”. These allow you to take additional actions to care for your plants and create the coziest space!
