The Great King Tutankhamun has died and preparations are being made to fill his tomb with items that will travel with him into the afterlife.
Prepare to gather your offerings and cleanse your spirit as you take on the role of priests and priestesses, traveling the River Nile to collect artifacts for the tomb of the great king. Along the way, enchanted idols from the all-powerful Egyptian Gods may help you on your journey.
Your primary objective will be to locate parts of artifact sets. When those sets are completed, they are placed inside King Tutankhamun's tomb to help with his burial preparations. The priests who gathered the most parts of the set will cleanse part of their spirit as a reward.
If you are the first player to fully cleanse your spirit (this is indicated by your points being reduced to zero), you will impress the new Pharaoh so much that he will appoint you as the next High Priest of Egypt. Will you rise to the challenge and win the favor of the new Pharaoh to become the most powerful priest in the land?
Tutankhamun features familiar gameplay from previous editions, while adding new Egyptian god powers and implementing a modified scoring system with new scarab rings and a new scoring variant for two players.
