The Army Painter Plastic Glue 24g – Modeling Glue

The Army Painter Plastic Glue is a specialized modeling glue for plastic miniatures and models, designed for strong and clean assembly of plastic parts. It is polystyrene cement, making it an ideal choice for hobbyists building miniatures, plastic model kits, wargaming miniatures, and scale models.

Unlike conventional Super Glue, Army Painter Plastic Glue does not simply create a layer of glue between the two pieces. Its composition slightly softens the plastic surface and, as it dries, the two parts bond together, creating a particularly durable connection. Army Painter states that after the process is complete, the bond can be as strong as the surrounding plastic.

The thin-flowing consistency and the special precision applicator tip allow controlled application of the glue even on small parts. This significantly helps during the assembly of plastic miniatures, where excessive glue can affect the details of the model.

At the same time, the drying time allows a small margin for corrections in the positioning or posing of the parts before the bond stabilizes. It is particularly useful for models that come on sprues, as well as for plastic figures, military models, vehicles, and other modeling constructions.
